Yep honestly can't see much happening @ GSTL for FXO if not 1 of their players can even get close to qualifying :S...

All for supporting them but I think if they are to be successful and step it up they probably need to be training with a Korean team / get a couple of tip-top Koreans onto their list (yes I know they have twilight).

You generally only step up your game once you play alot with people that are better than you.

But qxc and Oz DID get close to qualifying. Very close.

Keep in mind that they did this in their FIRST WEEK in Korea. They've got 3 months to improve.

They've only been to Korea for 1 week. And:

qxc lost a really close match to DRG.
Moonan and tgun lost to Dream and Soccer respectively who are now both in Code A.

Nothing really to be ashamed about.

Give them some time. Perhaps by Week 3 or 4 of the GSTL they might put up some really competitive games.

DRG fail to enter code A again lol

There is nothing funny about this! I can't believe we'll have to endure more of Choya and miss out on Seed, Junwi, DongRaeGu, TheSTC, etc.

You've gotta remove Junwi from that list, he isn't that good.

I don't know, I'd like to see more from him. You could replace his name with YongHwa, though, who I forgot to mention.

Wait, so is YongHwa out for sure? who beat him

Tails

I have no memory of how Tails plays :S
Anyway, there might be really good players in this pool that we've yet to discover. Hoping for that. Still sour though with the absence of theStc and DRG

the really good players in today's qualifiers are Hero, Puzzle, and Curious in my opinion

qxc lost to DRG and DRG didn't qualify!

I know it's early but I am just trying to discuss whether the environment is the best for these guys. I really want them to succeed, like everyone else does and am totally behind them. It is a shame that Glade is not over there as I still believe he is a level above most on their roster and may have helped to "raise the bar".

I think you need to look at what Liquid have done with their partnering (oGs). Imagine if qxc, moonan and co had players of the calibre of MC, NaDa, etc to practise against every day. I think that their improvement would come a lot faster.

From experience in other games you only take that step forward by playing with the VERY best!

Sorry if this seems overly critical - just trying to create some discussion. Especially after the fact that none of FXO qualified today

It could simply be that DRG has a much weaker TvP then TvZ. Every pro has matchups they are very good at and some they are not as good at.

Choya is back, I don't like that. Although he's way better than a few months ago, so maybe (hopefully) we will see some good games by him.

Also, good to see Leenock made it back in.

i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.

Haven't seen the information posted anywhere, but which 2 people that were in Code A after May gave up their spots?

8 from Up/Down, 8 from Code A Ro16, 15 Qualifiers, 3 MLG invites = 34 players?

There's only 1 MLG invite, which is Sheth. Nani and Thorzain are playing in August.

Choya is the coach, isn't he?
Nice for him to get in, but hopefully he doesn't neglect his job as coach! ^^"
Though I really hope he got better from his showing last code a.
