I think
Group E: Lalush and moon
Group F: July and Thorzain Huk - Think the time in Korea will do him a lot of good and he has a pretty straight forward group. Moon - He's probably better than Lalush, has a wealth of LAN experience and did well at MLG. July - Normally July is bad at ZvZ but Machine is even worse and Sushi should be well below July's level. He's a boss in ZvT which is lucky as Thorzain and Sjow are his biggest threat here. Hasu Obs is decent as well but I think July will have too much for him. Thorzain - He's just flat out better than anyone else in the group but July, plus he has no obviously weak matchups. July's ZvZ is bad against the top Koreans. None of them are here and Ret, Sen & Idra are the only solid ZvZs he'd be up for facing at any point. So I wouldn't worry about July in that manner. July could have issues with an unconventional Protoss though. Especially one that goes nuts with the scouting. Incorrect. July's ZvZ is just plain bad. He lost to Moon at MLG fairly convincingly. And I wouldn't say Moon is definately doesn't have a top level korean ZvZ.

I'm not as hyped for this as I was watching MLG. It feels like a more laidback event but its still just the first day
I think one large reason that some people aren't as stoked about this first day of DH as they were about day one of MLG has to do with the way ML started off. MLG was pretty much hyped as "Koreans vs. Foreigners" sort of event and to start off with Idra 2-0'ing MC really got everyone going. I'm personally enjoying DH quite a bit so far, so no complaints here .

pretty sure anyone who even logs onto LoL atm gets linked to the stream. I imagine sc2 numbers would be higher if logging into bnet brought up sc stream Theres a link to dreamhack in SC2 under news+community; its just a little less obvious. Even for non-LoL fans, a smooth stream with 160k viewers is something to pay attention to--more SC2 streamers might switch to own3d and other stream services will have to step things up. More large esports tournaments is also good for esports overall. The 160k viewers is misleading. Whenever someone logs into LoL, they are automatically counted toward stream viewers. Please stop using this number as some kind of proof. If SC2 did the same thing, Dreamhack would have one million viewers.
Hater's gonna hate, 160k viewers is legit, unless proven otherwise.

I'm not as hyped for this as I was watching MLG. MLG had more NA players, 5 Koreans flown in, and then started off with Idra vs MC, which upped the Hype a whole lot more. And we were all praying that MLG's streams would work. Let's not underestimate that aspect to the hype. Dreamhack has 5 streams with constant games Dreamhack has a bigger price pool Dreamhack has the better players Dreamhack features a lot more games (Quake, LoL, BLC, CS 1.6 etc.) Dreamhack has much higher stream quality
MLG has a louder audience MLG has Tastosis

Well there is no doubt there there are far more games and far more epic games here than in MLG, and player pool is at least 3 times better. But i do have to say i liked MLG more due to actually being able to see players after matches, hear interviews, look at the crowd and all. Dreamhack kinda looks like NASL and IPL.

As a European I am enjoying this event more... Might as well be an "online" tournament atm. That'll change at bracket play when they have most of their games on a single stream and likely will have some sort of stage production going on.
