This is an early post, but I am hosting a low level(Bronze - Gold) showtourney, this is simply a tourney to get peoples names out there and introduce new players to tournament experiences. There will be no prize pool for this tournament, and all matches will be cast and uploaded to youtube, however there will hopefully be a TTS#2 which will have a prize pool. Tentative dates are a s follows|| Pool Play July 1st-13rd and Bracketed Play July 16th and 17th

5 player pool play
ALL Pool matches will be arranged and played based on player schedule, if any problems arise with contacting someone in your pool let me know. And ALL replays must be emailed to me in order to validate results
Top 2 players in each pool will move on to bracketed play
Pool play will last 5 days and the brackets and finals will be held the following weekend (date on TL list is wrong)
Finals will be best of 5

OP updated, if this gets enough applicants its going to be much better, and will probrably lead to bigger prize pools in TTS#2 so be sure to tell your friends and help get the word out.

its a best of 3, you need to play a best of three wiith the 4 other players in your pool

Going to have to drop out (noticed you have alternates).
Comcast is being super sour and disconnecting me for hours at a time. It's constant and not fixable in a reasonable amount of time.

it wasnt my plan, but i polled the players and they felt that being in platinum demonstrated a superior skill level and asked for the removal of all plats from tournament, we are however going to bve hosting a gold and up(or plat and up) tourney soon, so i will keep you in mind

I guess it's not super necessary, but is it possible to release all the replays and pool scores when this is done? Or during is cool too but you don't need to if that's too much work for you.

i will release all replays and pool info when pool play is over. if i can get a new headset i time i will try to cast games in real time, however i may need to release casts on a 1 week delay ( depending on when i get my new headset)

I'm assuming that playoffs won't happen this weekend, especially since we don't actually know when they're happening so I don't actually have any time booked out to do this.

If they are not happening this weekend, ICanHasSkittles should at least have the courtesy to notify us of such a thing. I personally had made plans around this event. Therefore it is rude not to at least notify people. All I can say is I probably won't be back next time because of the issues that have arisen.

i just got home from a robotics competition, im exhausted when i wake up ill upload the replays, and i was p0lanning on doing all the games on he 30th but if people played them already i wont make them replay them, i guess people could go ahead and play their first bracket match if they really want to

bad news guys, my co hosts in this tourney are unable to attend and i wont be able to attends and run games myself, so i may need to miss a few games but i would still like all replays emailed, and i will still be online verifying results

I'M SO SORRY GUYS I LOST POWER FOR 4 hours today, just got my internet back up and running, I'm afraid i might have to use the same system we did for pool play where the matches are played by players and sent in on your own schedule, i don't want to disappoint all of you by trying to schedule it again, we will schedule the finals for next Saturday if all of you can play your matches this week, i will update the bracket as results come in, I'M sorry guys i feel like i let all of you down

I have to drop. I have many things going on in august and this tourney cannot be one of them. This is why I needed a time last weekend and was pushing for it to happen when scheduled.

im sorry i understand and wanted to avoid that but i ended up losing internet, id like to try to avoid scheduling it again, just in case something else like that happens, but the finals will be on a weekend, whenever i get all the replays in, ill update the bracket as i get replays.

i dont want to let you all down again, so i was planning on doing it like i did the pool play, you would play matches on your own, send me the replays and i would update the bracket, finals would be live on the weekend

THE TOURNEY IS NOT THIS WEEKEND, the round of 8 and 4 will be played like pool play was, (maybe just ro8) and the finals (maybe ro4) will be played live on a weekend

Do you want to play with the old ladder map pool? Since that's how this tournament started, it's probably a bit more consistent to continue with those maps.
