I remember them saying they would have a 2nd open tourney with 8 more spots didn't they? The second one can't get you to the finals but eliminated players from the first season can try to re-qualify in it. | ||

Top 2 in each division advance straight to the 16 man playoffs, which is 10 players. The 3 through 6 in each division play in a playoff-bracket style(20 players), where 5 players will advance to the 16 man playoffs. The last remaining spot for the 16 man playoffs is reserved for the winner of the 1million man open bracket online tourney. The bottom 16 of the NASL will not get an auto-invite next season. Edit: for corrections. Oh Ok thanks for clearing it up, so this means Grubby if he wins a type of up and down can still stay in NASL if he wins? Or as very bad stats is he guranteed to go out and replace with 1 of the 8 qualifiers? Sorry for so many questions. lol | ||

Edit: for corrections. We were talking about the qualification for the next season, not for the championship finals. Also, it is not correct that 3rd to 6th in each division go to the playoffs. The 11th-30th placed players in the overall rankings do. | ||
