Even if not everyone agrees. But most of the whining was from before those changes, and really ... it was somewhat harder at the start for zergs. Just like it was somewhat easier for terrans overall, which is why marauders and stim research and addon build times have been changed around so much. But most people just see "zergs do well now, the whining was just dumb" - forgetting all the changes in the last year. Anyway, not the thread for this ... Looking forward to MMA vs Idra - two of my two favorites, and MMA being my overall favorite to take the tournament. | ||

Yeah I don't get whats so beautiful about Zerg play at the moment. It's just get quick 3 base, spam drones as much as humanly possible. Rally units into protoss and win. This is all enabled by the Protoss who just sits there, expands late, and doesn't apply pressure. No shit Zergs are raping Protoss, they're getting ridiculous economic advantages every game. I think it is more to do with the fact that they have realized they can do that. Virtually every good Zerg is taking super early thirds these days, most have them realized if you just keep Zerglings to counter then it puts the Protoss in a difficult position. Going to be interesting to see how this game evolves. | ||
