Group A had lots of awesome games. Except Gretorp the other players made up for some really awesome games, it looked like anyone could beat anyone. Fenix who came from open bracket did really good in the group as well. Gretorp if you're completely out of shape, do like painuser and just don't sign up for the tournament or ask to be seeded in the open bracket cause in the pool play you just look like a joke. Pretty impressed with Drewbie's play despite his 2-3 record, he really had some bad breaks in his matches. Group B, can't start with anything else then total disappointment for Kiwikaki. He's my favorite player in the tournament and with the way he;s been playing i EG masters cup I thought he could take his group or really close to. I still believe he can come back thru the open bracket and finish among the top. It looks like he just doesn't react well in some situations he usually does really well in. He loses after taking the lead or just do an early mistake and lose. That said it's a really tough group. Even Moonan is a pretty solid player and he was outmatched. All 5 players in the group are really great players and all have a chance to cause some damage tomorrow. Group C is just completely sick. Select just like Kiwikaki was a played I really was looking for at MLG just like I do at every tourny he enters. I didn't get to see much of him, but god is this pool tough. Every players in it to me has a chance to actually win the whole thing. Idra beatig MC is sick, Thorzain vs Idra was great. I would have liked to see more of Tyler that's for sure. Thorzain coming right in from the open bracket and doing really well. Group D Gotta be impressed with Major's performance, he made i don't remember who look like a noobie to make it to the pools and it looks like he did really good once he got in the pool against some really good player. The pool overall looked more like crowd favorite than player who actually have shown consistent great result lately(Incontrol 4th at MLG being the only good result i'd say) Looking at Losira play is always amazing for me. Love how the guy plays and seeing him lose first round in GSL championship was pretty sad, at least he gets to show what he's got at MLG. It'll be awesome to see how he does against other first seed players in the winner bracket. Caaaaan't wait for tomorrow!! Gonna be sick. | ||
