Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402) |

Yes but some players have bad decision making, game sense and amazing mechanics. Sjow is just the opposite.

absolutely all

In TSL it was latency/lag, with MLG its jetlag. Excuses ruin credibility of the tournaments. Even if it does affect them, it sucks when it comes up everytime.

Idra and Naniwa the only ones to take a series off a GSL Korean. July is 3-0.

I highly doubt that.

Lol, Moon is beaten by 2 port banshee in g1 and decides to return the cheese with 2 consecutive baneling busts vs Fenix.

13. Machine ties his Pool D series with 22. Major at 1-1. Major chooses Shattered Temple for G3.

It's ironic - most of the very high level WC3 pros - Grubby, Lyn, etc - are not doing all that great. Many of the lesser known WC3 players are doing amazing. Like others have said, it really doesn't matter too much what game you played before SC2. Yea but isnt that the same with ex BW players also? I think its safe to say that the skills required for SC2 are different.

Yea, it's good, but Dota is extremely huge there (some millions of players) and a good number of those dota players came from wc3.

Looks like VIBE vs RSVP in LB ro16 is an extended series from the WB ro256, should be good!

Indeed. You can't really compare below-the-best foreigners to the best Koreans. That comparison doesn't even make sense. IdrA, Naniwa, Thorzain - they're the real deal when it comes to foreigner pros and it'll be interesting to see how they do when the deciding games come. Too bad more top foreigners, esp. Europeans, didn't attend this MLG. But I think we'll have a good sampling by the end of the tournament.
This is not the best Koreans either. No Nestea, MVP, Bomber or MKP.

Moon is just playing in an easy group, Nani defeated Moon 2-0..but the other players are pretty weak in that group.

So what's next? Red stream says Thorzain v MC at 7h30 local time, is that in 20 minutes?
