Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402)

Pretty much. It's getting harder and harder tho as Zergs are learning all the timings, better ways to defend, and all the possibilities against Terrans.
All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

Lets hope some major news stations pick up on how great this MLG is and recommend it on TV.

I don't know if a mod will be reading this but seriously Drazerk deserves a medal or something like that. Top notch LR.

My stream was lagging, but what happened exactly that killed so many of Sjow's SCVs?

I honestly hope that koreans dominate which they are doing because they try harder than every1 else. I actually hope that foreigners step up their game up more for the next MLG and go face to face with the korean pros.

Not really, Sjow just needed to turtle and stop moving out. July was doing extremely costly attacks against defensible positions. The problem was that sjow never really got into super good positions to defend and eventually fell apart.

yeah the koreans are on a different level for sure. just take a look at this game.

well I think there are some nonkoreans who can compete

what comes to mind is white-ra, dimaga, naniwa, huk, maybe jinro or kas, thorzain, happy, idra, sen, maybe some chinese guys... prolly some others im not thinking of. and then there are some others who can win but only if they are really on their game. im thinking like sheth or kiwikaki level.

Yea, this is definitely true. There have been 3 nonkoreans who have held their own in code S already. Dimaga is still the only zerg to beat nestea in a series, white-ra only got knocked out due to pvp 4gating battles, thorzain beat MC when they were both in europe, sen is beastly. The Koreans aren't outright dominating. If that were true they would have steamrolled everyone 2-0. Losira is code S and dropping games. MC lost a series. Sjow took games off July and MMA. You can try and blame jetlag, but the gap isn't insurmountable.

Last group play match is vs Thorzain, and Thorzain is on stream next vs MC, so probably not for a while.

All of this so July can get 2-0ed by Idra in champ bracket

Has July's ZvZ improved since a couple GSL's ago? As I recall that was his worst matchup.

Probably, he's atleast broken out of the habit of only early aggression. Now he's very wild, it's awesome.

Thanks for the updates, Tyler maybe starting to eat his words about ex WC3 players now .

It's ironic - most of the very high level WC3 pros - Grubby, Lyn, etc - are not doing all that great. Many of the lesser known WC3 players are doing amazing.

Like others have said, it really doesn't matter too much what game you played before SC2.

To be fair Grubbys pretty dam good considering how long ago he switched.

Agreed, Grubby joined into sc2 waay after everyone else and he is doing amazing in the euro tourney scene, give it a little more time and grubby should be dominating everywhere else (at least i hope so )

Moon 3-1
MC 3-1
Losira 3-0
MMA 4-0
July 2-0

Idra and Naniwa the only ones to take a series off a GSL Korean.
