Depends on the tournament in my opinion. A 1 day tournament like this or even MLG is fine, because the amount of time you can prepare for your next opponent is limited or none existent. But for something like the GSL where players often have a couple days to a week to prepare for an opponent I think it would be pretty lame if you decided to switch race during that period.
