you miss the subtle things
mana scouted that entire thing with a sacrificial stalker because he suspected this exact strat, including scouting the no gas
he makes a sentry or two and camps them up at the ramp in case kas brings all his scvs, in which case mana can sack his expansion and FF the scv/marines
he uses not all but some of his stalkers to delay/whittle down the marines on the way
he then goes for a counter right before the 3rd goes up and the other 4 rax finish
i do agree that he lost 2-3 stalkers unnecessarily
but his handling the situation was extremely well done

but i guess any player can do it assuming they've come across the same exact strat many times over

No gas rushes can be held off without scouting and good micro, f.e. MC held it off with almost no problems. Against such a fast FE any good player will start chronoing stalkers to harass the shit out of it, and as long as you don't see a single marauder, you don't have to see the 200 rax with no addons in the main, you just keep on killing marines for free. If he puts down bunkers his timing is gone anyway.

This build = dumb and doesn't work against a P who knows what he's doing and has micro
