Jinro has done poorly in every tournament for months, at least by the standards of a two time semi-finalist. He's looking like he'll get knocked out of Code A if he carries on playing this way.
It makes me sad but there you go. I'm starting to wonder if his original success was due to playing macro Terran when that was so rare and now that everyone is playing it everyone has practise against it and he just hasn't been able to keep up. I dunno.

i don't know what's gotten into Jinro, is he not practicing enough ? every game he played for the past two months he looks like he's afraid to play, every move he makes is super shy and whenever something he does gets countered he goes turtle mode and loses to an eco/tech advantage. his play looks like it's stuck in the feb/march metagame
go Jinro, we still believe man, you can get back on track.

There's no past tense to being a fan. If you were a fan of Jinro, you would still be his fan today regardless of his results. Maybe its lost in translation.

@Drey, so what if it's ladder. His play is geniunly much better if you watch his stream. He plays so much better than he seems to be doing in the GSL recently. I still have faith in him as a player to come back and do well, he just needs a good set of practice partners and he needs to evolve his style slightly to keep up.

He's been like that for the past 2-3 months though. I said a month ago, that Huk is now a much better player than Jinro and people didn't believe me.
I think the rumors about being too stubborn to change his play style might be true.

The selection is due to past results which is why you see people like LegalMind who are currently underperforming but did well months ago. On the other hand the newer rising players (like Don Rae Gu) haven't made enough of a splash yet to be selected.
