Before scouting the BCs, marauders would have been preferable to marines against such a mech heavy army. After scouting the BCs, he probably just should have stopped rax production all together. His marine count wouldn't have gotten that high, and if Goody positions his BCs properly among tank range, marines wouldn't have been able to do anything due to the higher range of BCs than marines.
