I'm not saying Haypro deserved to win or whatever, I'm just disappointed with how bad ZvZ is. So much coin flippery. haypro went a very risky build by not drone scouting and going for hatch first into ling speed and he got punished. That game said nothing on the state of zvz

Dont open hatch first and your fine. If their hatch doesnt go down at the standar time for a pool first build, get ready for a all in. The coin flips come mid game imo edit: i use to hate zvz with a passion playing it up until a week ago, when i finally relized what i had to do. but midgame is still a nightmare

That game said nothing on the state of zvz He didn't drone scout because he knew any very early pressure would kill him whenever he found out about it. A pro gong for a total coin flip absolutely does say something about the matchup.

The coin flips come mid game imo You do lose to a hatch first just cause a spine and defensive baneling will stop your all in, and if you can't act fast then you will be so much behind it is not even funny....personaly I like gimaga's ZvZ style, fast expo into lingspeed and make like 20 of them with 20ish drones and then use those lings offensivly, if he goes fast bane nest you go for roaches and a spine or two, however this requires dimaga status multitasking (check July vS Dimaga baneling war where Dimaga went hatch first and july went for fast baneling).

It was just bad play on his part.
