Posted a little early because I'm about to get on a plane. Hope you enjoy the matches today!

Looks like some sick matches coming up
Nadagast still plays SC? Also, only 1 zerg today lol. Good luck to everyone.

DuckloadRa vs VTPokebunny is starting the night off!
white ra using special tactics kekeke
Pretty sick comeback from WhiteRa right now.

So Pokebunny goes for an early bio push and through some great micro does a lot of damage to White-Ra - doubling his supply. And then it is completely nullified by White-Ra's DT play.
So annoying to watch
Raven out for Pokebunny now
3 pronged attack? i will defense it! GO WHITE RA
80 workers killed by WhiteRa. Pretty standard.

indeed, I really thought trying to take his third in that situation was going to be tantamount to suicide. Pokebunny was putting so much pressure on him, but he was able to get it up and mining and defend most of the harass effectively till the point when the extra econ kicked in.
Anyone know how Flashback did? I used to play wc3 with him...
Why is there a yellow terran on the production tab in addition to White-Ra and VTPokebunny?
excited to see nadagast play. i haven't heard much about him in months. he is such a chill dude and it would be awesome to see him get some attention in SC2.

If I'm reading the brackets correctly he'll be matched up against TLO which should be tomorrow, I guess.
Ouch very tough series for Pokebunny to get into this tournament. Best of luck to him!

GodRa all over the harass attempts, and then crushes face.
Would have been nice if the commentators acknowledged the warp in he seemed to do at Poke's third as well while he was pushing into the nat with his main army.

Pokebunny really got outclassed that last game, the first game he had a real opportunity. Well played White-Ra, as usual!
Whitera is just ridicolously good. His game sense is mindblowing. Although Pokebunny played well he didn' stand a chance.
Well played by White-Ra, as expected
i thought Pokebunny played pretty well...White-Ra is just a beast
man nadagast looking really weak. Lalush is an amazing zerg and a tough opponent, so it is not shocking to see him win but Nadagast got owned hard.
Wow so little comments? White-ra won the 1st game I'm assuming?

Loving the BM from drewbie.

Drewbie expands and techs and doesn't scout and calls DDE noob XD

Damn some harsh BM, but yeah I would be frustrated as well.

I feel sorry for Drewbie he is clearly the better player.

I've seen many a BM, and usually when it comes from pro's it offends the game balance, or seems to stem from frustration with the game, but this BM was of the most classic kind:
"gj noob"
i thought drewbie was better than that.... oh well

Drewbie did not scout... he had no vision of the map at all until way late. He even pushed to the wrong base initially with his puny marine force.
Please, do not talk out of your ass when responding to others. Simply don't post at all if you don't know.

he did not scout, he didnt even know where dde's base is when he tried his counter attack running up the wrong ramp first

Came in late so don't know if it's supposed to be just Edward in the casting chair, but I just want to say MrZ is a great commentator so far.

Hmm they switched to Drewbie's view and i think he didn't scout anything. He used a reaper to go the topleft position first, this was right before the attack. I don't think he knows where DDE actually was..

Forcefields and positioning reign supreme in these games O.o
(desRow vs BratOK)

Bratok showing his inconsistent side again.
Hope he can pull out a win.

Nice game 1, well played from both people.
Game 2 seems very interesting atm, to say the least.

I don't really like the caster, he's a bit... monotone? Yeah? I don't know someone correct me,

Is it me, or does the quality of the Desrow/BratOk games corresponds with their qualifier status?

Love it when gimmicky one-base play gets owned.
Go Bratok!

I find Edward's voice incredibly annoying, it's so soft and nerdy
Beastly fast game from TLO there! Also glad White-ra won

I'm not normally critical of commentators but I really find this painful to listen to.

When the "Castergroup" will be solified within the starcraft world, maybe then we could have some guys confident enough to call bad/boring games what they really are. So far every caster in a tournament will call all games "epic/wild/legendary/great/awesome". Dunno, i just can't take a caster seriously after he classifies a shit game as great, even while i know he tries to stimulate his audience. Trust the viewers, call it what it is, be honest while providing your professional insight.
what is this, 2 gas and 3 gates, and the casters seem to be totally confused, is this serious
welcome to standard play aka unconventional 3 months ago.
Are these guys personal friends of the protoss player? TLO is macroing so much better it's almost embarassing.
It seems like 2 EMPs would've won TLO the game there. Flashback was relying so much on the forcefields to hold back the Marauders from the Colossi.
TLO losing medivacs all over the place, lost all major battles and never could get a grip on flashback's army/tech buildup.
Would love to see a bit more concentration on Dario' side, flashback seems beatable to say the least.
Absolutely. I wonder if exactly what the caster said was true. I think TLO underetimated his position. Granted the Protoss had the gold but if he didn't make that last attack he was definately still in it. No ghosts, behind in upgrades, too.
??? 3 gate expand with double gas is standard!! ...casters are quite misinformed
Whats the score TLO - Flashback ?

Dario micro your banshees! These were just free kills for flashback, well certainly the first one was.. attacking a group of stalkers while you know the observer was out. Hold them back forcing army concentration and observers busy providing vision instead of scouting..
After rolling over Flashback in g1, I almost feel like Dario is taking him too lightly. He macros so much better but very questionable engagements.
TLO- Why are you engaging colossi with jack shit for vikings?
This protoss has never attacked in any of these games. So why is TLO trying so hard to drop everywhere? Super passive Protoss... can't punish that with what TLO is doing. He's just donating units.
Poor TLO

Ah TLO - bad luck wish you would build vikings!
ugh T_T come on TL!! get out of your slump!
I feel like TLO had an idea of what he wanted to do, and ignored how his opponent was playing
TLO really played those last two games v poorly. Good play but very standard from flashback, really strange from TLO
Oh, is sad day! </heavyweaponsguy>

No Ghosts, a handful of Vikings vs Protoss Collosi Deathball. A foregone conclusion, really.

TLO played that really really badly. Trying to reinvent the wheel against a clearly weaker player, it's just silly.
LoL TLO losing to a A click gamer because he didn't focus on upgrades and army positioning.
Yeah, TLO outplayed him but he didn't really need to. All he really had to do was attack constantly and trade armies because you know that kind of Toss will not go out and engage without a massive army. TLO was being way too cute with his play and paid for it because it just allows the Toss to macro up into deathball status and all your units are just scattered to the wind when the attack finally comes.
Flashback with a great comeback, and a really solid calm style. Reacting to harrasment without overreacting was impressive. TLO losing loaded medivacs again, attacking with wrong army compositions (vikings?) and really i have to ask; where is TLO's unique refreshing style? Haven't seen him inventing his own style for a while now.. Well the 7rax was fun but tonight was really poor.
Hurts me to say it but Flashback was the rightful winner of this Bo3.
Some good games today, thanks IGN!

not quite sure if TLO outplayed him... The way I saw it, protoss was being passive in all the games and that style just worked against TLO's overly harrass-oriented style... I mean harrass is great but TLO definitely needed ghosts and more vikings to have that fight more even. I was cheering on for TLO
Good job, Flashback! TLO's not even going to qualify for IPL2. Well, maybe when a lot of good players already qualified.
Hm, I really dont want to judge TLO, so I will just point out some things I noticed
He got blue flame (which was a good idea seeing he was struggling against those zealots, but in the final confrontation he only had 1 hellion.)
The vikings engaged the Colossi totally unprotected, they all died pretty fast while the Bio was kiting the zealots.
Ravenplay seemed pretty uneffective, 3 ghosts would have been much more beneficial imo.
I don't know, hope TLO will qualify on the Next qualifier, we need him in this League!

Ye but his harras was kind of weak, he lost too many units while doing it - that evens out the harras on its own. Losing banshees and loaded medivacs just by poor micro is hardly cost effective. He was aggressive, but forgot to oversee his units in their goal; to harras and get ahead. Losing 5 probes to 2 banshees.. i'll take it!

You'd know more than me but at the very least he outmacroed him. The second game was almost comical. Lose every engagement and still be even in food.

TLO coulda won that just by playing standard but meh

the only reason why i 2 raxed in that game is because game 1 and 2 he didnt scout using scvs and i figured he would fe on shakturas when he picked it. and i didnt bring single scv for the attack because i was expanding behind it. that was sorta funny drewbie.

Drewbie, was dde ACTUALLY lucky he won? Is it actually cheese if he knows you didn't scout the previous games and even IdrA has said it either casting or while streaming that you tend to cut corners and play greedy.
Sometimes I wish Kiwikaki would join another team, he's a great player and you can't argue with that. ROOT wouldn't be much of a team without him to be honest : /.
