MorroW said in a interview that he has been working really hard on the protoss matchup lately and that he isn't afraid of protoss any more. He says that he has a whole new perspective of the matchup.

MorroW has proven IdrA wrong. MorroW has proven Day9 right.

The interview: http://www.rakaka.se/?newsID=16839 (In swedish)
He partly proved IdrA wrong. He did not prove Day[9] right, though.

He didn't prove anyone wrong; he just managed to actually win a BO3 against a protoss. If he keeps winning against good protosses using this style, that statement might have some validity.

LOL, srsly what is up with all this player-bashing. Maybe you should just shut up and don't judge things you don't understand.

That statement is just as valid as the ones claiming the build is very hard to handle and morrow somehow revolutionized ZvP. Someone even claimed Naniwa played "flawless standard protoss style". Naniwa was very far behind when he did no pressure early and let morrow snipe/delay his nexus repeatedly. This style does have some promise, but good FFs, blink and HTs/colossi still seems good against it.

You dont understand the matchup and you probably didnt watch the game if you say nani did not pressure, and he did his best to defend his nexus but its VERY hard for toss to handle multi pronged ling/baneling drops/runbys.

Yes good heavens protoss has to have some observers scouting for the drops/lings, split the army and multitask a bit. One set of good FFs and all the lings die doing 0 damage and HTs crush lings even without FFs. Good simcity at third will make ling runbys very ineffective.

Wow, you really make it sound easy. Its really strange that it didnt work out for Naniwa, because he did excatcly what you said. Maybe it might have something to do with the fact that Protoss gateway units suck bigtime when split up?

how did Haypro do? I missed all his games (saw he lost 0-3 in the group, just wondering if that tells the full story).

they only showed him vs naugrim, where he lost in pretty straight up games.

A live thread that ends up somewhat of a balance whine and discussion. Call me suprised.

Rather focus your limited concentration on the games and how awsome 2gd is instead of ruining another useful thread.

When action happens, there is more motion, thus more information to code. you have a processor usage and bandwidth spike. So yeah, it makes sense. Quite annoying, though.

He didn't even pick up Naniwa walking all the way to Morrows ramp, forcing well over 20lings and spines + FF'ing it (and Nani picking up every ling/bane drop on Meta), no intelligent discussion is going to happen in here. Anyone who isn't terrible at this game could see how much potential there was in Morrows style, pretty much had the best European Protoss scratching his head and pinned for the entire game.
