WCG Sweden qualifiers

Alright so the Swedish WCG qualifiers are set to be today and on thursday just wanna give people heads up to where to signup for it and how its going down.

StarCraft II Qualifiers

In SC2 theres 128 spots in the qualifier thats gonne be played online the 10th and 12th of may. The eight best players from the two qualifiers go to a LAN final at Inferno online the 21th of May in stockholm where eight players already are invited and all games up to semifinals are being played there where as the finals is being played at the DreamArena Extreme at DHS11, details about this will probably come later on.

Well this can get really interesting... I really want to see how it goes, much more than other tournaments since WCG have this feeling of being the world championship. Crazy amount of Swedes circulating in the top 8 of each tournament.

why are there "invited" players in a WCG qualifier ? it's supposed to be fair for everyone and it should be so especially in a NEW GAME.
this is really pathetic, the e-sports' establishment get too many privileges, if you choose to be a professional then you shall do so but you should fight for your spot at least.

Yeah it's a shame, but better known p[layers => more viewers => more income so I can't really blame them.

Awesome, looking forward to seeing 2GD again, he did a great job at Dreamhack Invitational. Will one be able to watch the players at Inferno Online as well?
