Ok, Monk might of lost, but hypothetically lets assume he wins (as he did, so this would be a logical assumption). Combat has defeated stalife and firezerg several times in many tournaments that i've seen first hand, and I believe he would of been able to beat them again, therefore clinching the ace match....
Sorry, I think anyone that knows anything about waterloo will agree that waterloo should have taken CSL this time around.... and to bring up the topic of the ban, combat was on probation for not bm'ing in game, he got banned because he bm'd in a stream.... if people were to get bans based on stream bm....then the sc population would be 19/20th of what is is right now.....people bm in stream a lot....ppl bm a lot in general....i find the issuer of the ban; a person who just jumped on the hate-combat bandwagon, as opposed to actually giving it some thought.... lets be honest here, when I am watching destiny's stream/incontrol's stream/anyone at a high level stream...probably the ONLY time i actually ever get excited and the ONLY time the stream goes insane is when they get matched against combat-ex....as much as people hate him, he bring life into the community.... this is going on a tangent...so im going to stop here.

Combat was on probation for both in-game and out-of-game bm. That includes bm in a stream. You really think we didn't give this any thought at all? You act as if you know everything that goes on behind the scenes in the CSL. Please don't, as I find that pretty offensive.
I'll be honest, I find people like Destiny hilarious, but when people started to complain for legitimate reasons for uncalled-for bad manner, we put Combat on probation. He violated the terms of that probation, and was banned for it. Simple as that, and as unfortunate as it is, I think the parties involved understand.
You can argue that Waterloo is better than UBC all you want, but in the end, UBC is this season's champions, and CombatEX > all.

I'm SUPER excited that UBC won the CSL season 4 :D The first season with SC2 which makes it even more meaningful ! Thanks to the wonderful CSL organizers for hosting an amazing tournament. They have been great all throughout the season!
Thank you to the sponsors JUSTIN.TV and TTESPORTS.
Thanks to the UBC CSL team for being awesome :D WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS.
After some internal discussion, we`re going to be donating part of the prize money to charity, preferably something local to Vancouver, and/or something related to gaming. If you guys have any suggestion, feel free to post or PM me. Half the prize will go to UBC's SC2 Club (which is different from UBC CSL team) to help grow ESPORTS at UBC :D
