Despite the perceived protoss dominance of late, it's not surprising to see 4 terrans in the semifinal because of who those players are individually. Ryung, MVP, Bomber, Keen. We already knew how good Ryung, MVP, Bomber were. Keen had been doing very well on the ladder lately (although it is not the most reliable measurement of skill) and got pretty lucky with his draw in Code A. Other notable players are MMA and Min, but they both got knocked out by admittedly better players (Bomber and MVP). The only upset I really see in this Code A is Leenock losing in R32 and Boxer losing in R16 to a certain extent. Boxer really needs to work on his macro though.

It will suck if we don't see a zerg in the finals again. 1Z v 3T and 1Z v 3P... And the protoss-killer Losira is stuck with 3 Ts, while terrat-killer NesTea face 3Ps. That sucks for us, zergs.

There is absolutely no reason for him to not give it 100%. There's Up and Down like j3i mentioned, there's more money for 1st, there's a title for winning 1st, and there are no other tournaments that he has to practice for (to my knowledge).

Every pro will give it their best effort to win whatever tournaments they're entered in.

+ Here comes TvT, TvT, followed by TvT. I'm actually looking forward to ST.Bomber vs IM.MVP should they meet in the finals.

Wow, violet had some of the worst decision making I've ever seen in game 2. Mutas into marines with 2-3 medivacs CONSTANTLY! It made absolutely no sense at all, attacking up a sieged up ramp when MVP literally had no minerals left in his main. He deserved to lose.

Things I noticed:

MMA's mechanics were just not as good as Bomber's, i.e., he got supply blocked many, many times, while Bomber never did.

aLive has beautiful positioning, always getting his tanks into perfect lines, a thing I wish more terrans would do. However, he just used a flawed strategy in Game 1 stubbornly. His Mech use had absolutely no answer to Marauders.. that is all. He didn't lose because he made too much workers, he lost because he didn't add marines until it was too late.
