compLexity Gaming is proud to announce WEEK 13 of its biggest initiative in the StarCraft 2 community, The V! The best test of skill in SC2 is of course the 1 v 1, and we're going to showcase it every week with a best of 7 series between two invited players. The winner will receive $100, and the loser will just have to hang his head in shame as he types "gg." Whoever wins The V will be expected to play the very next week at the same time!

Here are the details for Week 13:

Format: Best of 7 series, map pool is as follows:

Game 1: Shattered Temple
Game 2: Backwater Gulch
Game 3: Terminus RE
Game 4: Metalopolis
Game 5: Typhon Peaks
Game 6: Xel'Naga Caverns
Game 7: Crossfire SE

In the event of a disconnect, the game replay will be reviewed by a player panel to determine if a re-game is necessary. If one player disconnects three times in a single night, he will forfeit the series and the non-disconnecting player will be asked back to the next V.

Prizes: The winner of the best of 7 series will receive $100 via Paypal and be invited to play again the following week. The loser will receive nothing. Every week we have a different giveaway for our viewers, so be sure to tune in for instructions on how to win!

Last week's series against Minigun was thoroughly entertaining.

I do expect Spades to take this if he prepared for Spaniwshiwa's build, though. It does have holes, and Spanishiwa is not on the same level with his other openings yet.

k, spades is looking quite bad, getting raped beyond words by this kid who never played a lan and only ladders, and after having a big advantage early in both games that were played so far, scratching forehead a bit

well, go spanishiwa, keep getting better and more solid/diverse, definitely got the potential with the mechanical talent and underlining concepts of the style, but the ice fisher build in itself won't take you to the top

He waited when he saw the bunkers get thrown down. After the bust failed to kill Spades Spanishiwa was still good in terms of supply and harvesters. Losing every single drone to hellions was a much bigger problem than the bust execution

he lost that game because he's still not solid enough -aka experienced enough at pro levels of play- to sense some timings, + Show Spoiler +

and he didn't scout the third.

had he done the bling bust at the proper timing he would've broken spades, he waited too long for the second round of units. and if he blocked his main ramp properly for the counter-attack he could've held the push/won

Spades follows game 3 win up with lame 2 rax cheese that gets scouted. Transition into 4 CCs and mass supply block macro. The best part of that game was when he killed span's army and span built 15 BLs. also awesome was NP'ing 5 vikings.

pretty bad game 5 by both of them, that was ladder level. and another game that spanishiwa should have won pretty handily after the huge ling runby, but threw away to some bad decision making, just like game 3.

someone get this kid some proper practice partners and mentoring, mucha potential here.

this match was spanishiwas vs. spanishiwa, and spanishiwa won 4-2 against himself. so-so level games, a bit disappointed, but they were very entertaining, especially the metalopolis game (epic), which incidentally was the highest level game of the series imo.

looking forward to the next V, i'd like to see a really high level challenger and a more solid spanish.

Artosis said "I think I missed something.... Who//what us spanishiwa?" so it would be cool if we could show him ^_^

Terrans can easily make their vikings go a lot further just by spreading them out into a good concave instead of letting them sit on top of each other where they all get hit by one fungal. Until they make the obvious and free adjustment, the meta game isn't going anywhere.

Wtih all love for the Show.
The Casting of that show was incredible terrible.
- Many misscalls (mixing up infestors/roaches)
- Terrible analysis of situations
- Missjudging what is important´for the moment.

So really I dont want to be hating, but I found myself turning of the sound after the 5th game. So plz get another caster who has better knowledge of the game in as an addition or get your stuff together. Thanks

I usually like Joshy but the last two casts have been pretty bad. Missing so much action. I think it was game 4 where Spanishiwa had 2 burrowed baneling in Spades third, then you could see a huge line of SCV's transfering on the minimap and then just dissapearing. Spades dropped like 30 supply in one sec and Joshy dident even mention it. That was so huge and i cant belive joshy dident even notice it.

EDIT: It was game 5, not 4.

They both from NA and yea they defiantly good in NA but in world standard not such much ill really like to see what spanishwa gonna do vs the top world players how fare can spanishwa`s awesome creative build reach?

Awesome series! I know Artosis is in Korea, but like someone suggest above it would it be so cool to see Artosis vs. Spanishiwa. Seeing how Artosis nergasms over unique and effective playstyles, how could he not love Spanishiwa after Spanishiwa crushes his Protoss =p
