The aim of this tournament is to encourage people to play on competitive level. This way we get better and our server gets more alive. Don’t be scared! We play for fun and all games will be unrated!

We will have our own live stream and casts so everyone will be able to follow the matches that will be going on. And the best ones will be posted on youtube along with the live commentary! This shall be epic!
How to sign up?

Well this is pretty simple. If you have a team already just pick a captain and post there your team. I’d like all captains to give their identificators (mine is 458) and e-mails so I will be able to contact them anytime.
What if I don’t have a team?
Well then simply sign up and wait. When we will have a nice list of people then we will randomise the teams and give you one. However when you are a solo player you have to give me your id and e-mail just like team captains.
And if i want to sign up and be sure I'm in a team with my friends?
Well, then simply post your small group here and we'll just give you some teammates later
We'll be giving you a week to train with your teammates if you get some random ones. The lists will be out a week before the tournament starts. However you can still join if you want. We'll just assign you to one of the existing teams.
RULES
1. When will it take place?
7th/8th May (Sat/Sun). If there will be up to 8 teams we do it only on Saturday. If we get 8+ we have to move to Sunday. See full schedule at the bottom.
2. Basic rules
2.1. The SBT games will take place on one weekend (depending on the number of teams it will be a one day or two day tourney).
2.2. Every team must have a captain.
2.3. Every match (except for the final) contains one game. The referee (Frosty) will flip a coin and therefore decide the starting positions. Final will be played as a BO3 so first to 2 wins is a winner.
2.4. Each team MUST have 5-7 members.
2.5. Player that has played at least one game for a team can’t play for any other teams.
2.6. The games will be played in Classic Mode and each team should field 5 players. If a team cannot afford to field a full squad captains may agree to do a 4v4 game. However if the opposing team leader will not agree to make it a 4v4 then you have to play a 4v5 or give a walkover to the opponents. (Note: It is forbidden to use only 3 players in a match)
2.7. Both team leaders must save the replay of the match and send them to me right after.
2.8. There will be a ‘SBT’ channel up on Starcraft for anyone looking for a friendly match before the tournament starts and for the organization purpose later.
2.9. The games are repeated if someone drops or disconnects befire the 10 seconds mark. Otherwise there is NO game repetition. You either have to play on or gg out of the game. This is to prevent discing on purpose.
3. The game schedule
3.1. The schedule will contain the day and hour of the match
3.2. The teams should be in the SBT channel at least 10 mins before a game starts (eg. The game is scheduled Sat 9 pm CET so everyone should be in the channel at 8:50pm to set up the match and have some time to discuss strategies and ship compositions within the team. NO PAUSING IN THE GAME.).
4. Tourney ladder
4.1. A ladder will be posted and updated after every match.
5. Communication
5.1. Any offensive language will give you a warning. Therefore it is forbidden to use game chat to communicate with the opponents besides ‘GG’ and ‘GL HF’ or any variations of these two. I don’t want to solve any disputes because one of the teams felt offended by something and the opponents disagree.
5.2. Two warnings for any player are going to disqualify him. The team may call in a replacement if they lack a player.
I expect everyone to have fun and be fair to others (ie. If you join and then don’t show up then you ruin the fun for the others).
