I feel like IdrA is going to take this one pretty easily seeing as the only other well-known players are his teammates, and IdrA with knowledge of what his opponent is doing = unstoppable.

Kawaii and Idra are the only two former broodwar finalists in this first top 16.

axslav and strifecro former war3 finalists.

Newsh - placed top 25 at MLG DC and Dallas (2010) for sixjax gaming. Former War3 and WoW pro, I believe he dropped off the sixjax team to focus on raid progression for his WoW guild.

Trimaster - Defeated CatZ at MLG Dallas (2011) in open bracket play but knocked out by Naniwa.

Man, I really want to play in this. I had such a great time at WCG last year, but 3-4 am Romanian time is just incredibly hard for me to manage.
