He was at DH, but his match wasn't until the next day which he KNEW about. There's really no excuse.

How about putting something up on the website so I don't have to click around until I find the information in the LR thread? What about putting something in the OP of the LR thread?

Heh next week will be fun when the GSL season starts back up and then it will pretty much be back to back SC2 for 6+ hours :D

Naniwa is on team dignitas. Sjow is also on team dignitas and participated in Dreamhack. Sjow's first match was against Huk and second match against white-ra. Naniwa being the good teammate was probably helping sjow prepare.

You know what's funny. Nowhere on the NASL site there is a link to the stream. Or am I blind?

3. Thanks to everyone being understanding and having patience <3 We will make mistakes.. what is important is that we improve upon them! Well the good thing is that you guys are actually communicating with the viewers and letting us know how long things are delayed for. Unlike MLG, which viewers were left in the dark as to what is going on and when things would actually be back up. At least we can better use our time now. Perhaps you just weren't paying attention during MLG, they communicated with us quite frequent.
Oh trust me I was paying lots of attention. They commuted that there was problems but nothing as to when to expect things to come back on. You can sit there for literally hours with the same screen saying the stream will be back "momentarily"
I am also not talking about tweets about live match results.

I'm going to go with maybe... just maybe they tried fixing the problem before hand, and they squeezed as much out of their processing cpus as they could, but in the end the rending/saving whatever the shit is, just couldn't go fast enough because it's probably a ginormous file.
So it's probably going to be done any moment if it hasn't already, they'll test it and it'll go live.

They probably weren't sure how long things were going to be delayed until they got closer to finishing things up.

It popped up on the main page of the site for me last time.

2. We are aware that W/O's suck and are not what anybody wants... we are discussing ways to make this less frequent. We DO have a really ambitious schedule though so if players aren't communicating with us it will be really hard to cut them huge amounts of slack. Please know this league cannot exist with a bunch of w/o's so obviously we above all else want to work out how to solve this and we are on it!

Props for the up-to-date memos, open communication, and obvious attempts at keeping everything in working order It's clear that you're trying to make everything run as smoothly as possible, and hopefully everyone will understand that shit happens.

The question shouldn't be whether or not Nasl made the right decision giving the walkover to Strelok, the question should be if Naniwa should be fined or not. Nasl is being too nice to the players. They should show some tough love so players learn quick. Otherwise we'll have even more matches not getting played.

I was hoping to sit down at my computer and watch the first game of the night

I must admit I'm a bit disappointed by the glacial pace this LR thread is keeping considering what the usual pace would be for a heavily delayed event with tons of bored would-be viewers spamming.

By North Americans they mean the west coast.

Would be nice if they just had W/O actually played another time and tagged on to another day.

As someone on the east coast I feel your pain. The problem is the time zones-since streaming is simulcast, I think they're trying to start at a time anyone can watch across the country. Starting at 7:00 east coast would mean they're starting at 4:00 in California. It does suck though.

It seems they need to do the exact opposite. Two of the best matches for the entire season have been forfeited. No games, no entertainment.
