Yes. There will be a free LQ stream. If the previous LQ streams are any indication... it will be pretty terrible.

The first night will be broadcast in HQ to everyone for free. But after that you have to pay. It is $10 for the weekend.

really? for me it was worse than GSL free stream and that one isnt good already. ill check out how it runs today. if there are no stream issues, ill get the HQ pass tomorrow

When does the open bracket start and will it be streamed?

It has quite a bit of top tier players competing for the last few slots, such as Morrow, julyzerg, thorzain, tt1, cruncher, demuslim, fenix, kwaiirice, qxc, dde, major, vibe, catz, destiny etc etc.

Will it be played before or during the closed tournament? Will it have seeds?

Didn't realize they were going so all-out on the streaming, but it's a good thing they are. 2 1/2 hours, and I'm itching for it to start. Kick-off of idra vs mc? Epic much?

If it's worse than the GSL free stream it'll have to be like 10x10 pixels. The GSL is all but a blur.
Since the USD is damn cheap nowadays, I can't see a reason not to get the HQ pass. It'll just make the event even more epic (hopefully).

The schedule says that the first few hours of saturday will be the later rounds of the open brackets (round 5 and 6).

They focus mainly on the pool play, but with a field this stacked with amazing players, it would be nice to see the earlier rounds as well (but you would probably need like 2 more streams to be able to show all interesting matches

)

I hope they do some lighting stuff that makes it hard to see the crowd through glare or something. It won't be a big deal unless it is a six pool or something because in late game, I'm sure progamers don't have time to look at the crowd.
