im sure he did it because he expected there would be no units back at adels base to defend the drop

Hey all.. at least we have more than 3x5min games :D

qxc plays rly bad... he can only if if he gets a huge build order lead, kind of lame player dont like him at all

Just enjoy the games, its not that hard... Djeesh. If you chrono boost and macro really well then they shouldn't all be timed exactly the same. That's not a particularly good use of the warp-in mechanic though. Part of the advantage of warp-in is that you can swing your gateway unit comp by 10+ units at a time.

Stream is too laggy to watch. All other streams are running fine though, I though maybe it was on my end. Hmm... do hope you solve this issue. Didn't have this problem last week.

well, it's easy to say 1 thing - winner of the whole tourney is almost certainly not playing right now -.-
*waiting for kas-nada

Liked the idea of QXC's drops...but he picked the wrong bases to drop! He should have dropped the main or the 3rd base...

QXC should've expanded earlier i don't think qxc played significantly better than adel, not enough to 'deserve' the win if we count obvious mistakes adel def leads ( he lost like 6 collosus for no reason over the game). but overall youre right in that game ~ He lost the colossi, but he also killed the medivacs, vikings, and marauders, so Adel came out ahead.

Hey, I know he is good player, every player who qualified for TSL has to be good and I am super enjoying today's games. Just found it funny and had to comment on that Adelscott isn't far from advancing to next round after so much complaining in this topic. Grand level of overreacted complaining, indeed.
Stop the whining and enjoy the games. Be happy!

^this x 100000
For stalkers for example 750 minerals 300 gas for one 6 gate warp-in. Plus every warp-in is 1.5 pylons worth of supply so that's another 200 minerals you have to throw down right after to be ready for the next wave of warp-ins.
Do people even play this game?

This map should be better for qxc; more than one drop route and wide areas in the middle for better mmm micro.
|
A bit confused about how qxc lost that game... sure he was on 2 bases for a few minutes longer than adel, but he was sniping collossi left and right. Were the drop not very cost effective? frustrating game to watch just because adel really didn't do much anything until he decided to a-move into qxc's base.
Seems like qxc kind of killed himself.

This again.
You can't queue units on warp gates. If you have them come in at random you have to constantly be checking your warp gates for when they cool down, which isn't efficient use of APM. And since most Protoss players build several warp gates at once, they are synched up by default so you'd have to actually chrono boost them to separate the cooldowns. But chronos are better used on colossi and upgrades.

Adel topright qxc bot right
|
It's very hard to tell when sacrificing units to snipe Colossi is worth it. I guess qxc miscalculated a bit with the trade-offs.
|
Im simply not impressed by Adelscott's play. He lost faaaar too many colossus, his macro is rather bad (1k+ minerals at various points in the game) and his micro+multitasking is pretty mediocre. Compare him to the best protosses such as MC, San and HuK and he seems like a silver-league player.

2:00 QXC with 12-rax, Adel with a 12-gate, 15-gas.

I don't know who's the better player. But QXC's play is soooooooo much more entertaining to watch.
Adelscotts play kinda just feels like Probe-Nexus-Probe - Mass Gateway -> Attack and crush inferior army xd.
