While the stream was down at the beginning of the day, everyone tunned in to a stream that had 110k viewers, HQ, no lag featuring an eagle sitting in his nest.
Eagle meme: there was a ustream of an eagle with 100k viewers at once. TL thread watched that instead of MLG. Everyone bitched that MLG should be using ustream

He's always sporting in his actions. His play is so cheese-free it's ridiculous and he's classy when it comes to accepting when he's lost a game. If you disable his ingame chat and never ever let him post anything or give interviews he'd be the classiest player in SC2 :D
Select should go back to his harrassment style. He's a lot more comfortable with it and the fact that your opponent feels so helpless is good for the mindgames too.
I want Naniwa to win the tournament without dropping a game, but Select seems like such a nice guy I kind of want him to win too.

I understand why Blizz won't put in LAN mode. It's because Starcraft 1 was pirated on an absolutely massive scale. Compared to the success it enjoyed in Asia, Blizz got relatively little money from it.
However, just because I understand their motivation doesn't mean I don't agree that they seriously need to come up with a solution for tournaments so shit like this doesn't happen.
SC 1 still sold an assload of copies and if people arent willing to buy the battlechest for it now they never would.
TLO took game 1 against Idra with some early Hellion pressure that did an incredible amount of damage to end the game. In Game 2, TLO went with two proxy rax that made it clear Idra would lose quickly. At this point the game lagged out, and in the in-game chat, Idra acknowledged that he'd already lost and asked if he would be allowed to forfeit. Everyone agreed, Idra forfeited the game, and just like that, TLO moves on to face InControl.

It would help because its the connection from Dallas. If there was LAN and Dallas internet died the game would still go because its LAN!
Stream would still be fucked though.
lan = lot less bandwidth used = more bandwidth for stream
