X_X it's pretty simple. Idra has always say that HuK is a talentless player and he has shown zero respect for him since the beginning. On the other hand, he believes TLO has some real talent even if he likes his cheese more than a frenchman. It's just a question of respect. I pray for a victory from TLO. I don't really like his style, but InControl is so consistently bad on his stream and other tournaments it would be a shame to see him figure high in the MLG Dallas.

It makes some kind of sense but seems counter intuitive and a penalty for the folks who fought their way in from the open brackets. While 3 of the 4 pool first placers did go 4-0, iNcontroL did lose a series to Pain-User, but because he came out on top he gets the DE "protection" while hypothetically another person could get into the pool from the open bracket, beat 3 out of the 4 seeds, end up with the same 3-1 record as iNc but not take first place, and end up not having the same DE benefit. The purpose of the double elimination is, because SC2 is a fairly volatile game no one can be eliminated from the tournament after losing one series. That is pretty much all it's there for. The first in each group does have a slightly better guarenteed spot relative to the other in the group but that is really the only way to have the bracket play out. Place in group - Guarenteed spot #1 = top6 #2 = top12. #3 = top16. #4 = top20. #5 = top24. I think it's fair to reward the top players in the groups like this. It's a way bigger issue that everyone in the top16 is guarenteed a spot in the top24. Even if someone is in a huge slump it's gonna take a few tournaments before they actually drop outside the top16. Unless there is someone like Naniwa who just bullies his way through from the open bracket and goes undeafeted in well over 20 games :s But I doubt that'll happen every tournament
