Advantage for higher seeds is fine but this is a bit ridiculous While I understand where you're coming from, what would you have done? Make it 7 for the seeds and 12 for the open brackets? Then you have a LOT less players that can play in the 'qualifiers'. The system is pretty ridiculous though. The fact that HuK will have had to beat Sheth, Ret, IdrA (twice), +Drewbie/Tyler/TLO/Vibe just to be on par with Incontrol who beat TLO, Slush and Mihai.. There are 10 other players with equally difficult routes as HuK, and I'm missing out on quite a few of the players HuK beat yesterday too (Cocoa, Spades?). Not sure what they can do to fix it given they moved to this system so they could have better schedules for coverage.
what has the difficulty of the route to do with the tourney system?

I hardly ever get to watch Naniwa play. This match should be amazing. HuK, Naniwa and KiWiKaKi are the only Protoss players I feel could compete in Korea and be successful.
