Bnet is working fine atm, dont blame this on Blizzard now. Yes i know that if the game had LAN it wouldnt cause this problem, but GSL in 5 seasons has not had COMBINED the amount of problems MLG has had in 1 day And they cast live GSL has 2 players and 4-5 observers using their internet connection. MLG has had (at the start at least) over 256 players using the internet connection at the same time in the open bracket. I'm not trying to defend MLG for not being prepared, but please, at least give logical comparisons. There are only about....76 computers for starcraft 2 Press people that are using the internet, booths and as well the casters. It's more than just the players.

so from watching this stream I learned 2 things 1 - DJ/Day/JP can talk about anything foreverzz 2 - the cat can't get cross the stream

Wouldn't be a big surprise if they fail to update it properly either. Nani is 4-0, haypro is 1-1.

Atleast we'll spend the next 5 hours listening to Day9 rather than JP.

The problem is the people that are accessing the dallas internet in-games with the observers are having issues and lagging out. That would be completely eliminated with having both players and a LAN observer (who would be streaming)
Correct me if I'm wrong?
There is no LAN, everything comes and goes from BNet servers which are in California. Halo and CoD which feature LAN have run smoothly afaik.

Day9 spot on about Soul Calibur, best fighting game ever.

here is the problem with mlg
beside a few tens of connections to bnet servers for players to play matches , mlg hosts in dallas also the stream server that the viewers are connected to (us) , instead of having the stream server in another city with a large bandwidth or using some stream services like ustream or justin , they act very retarded and use the stream from dallas
they are doing this because they don't accept using ads from other services , they use their own , this is why we don't see nothing and whole event is ruined , all those matches :| all is a big joke. mlg should'nt blame isp , they are to blame because they are retarded and don't know to organize a big event like this
fuck mlg

Why would it lag during replays? Think before you write

Maybe Later Guys. Did MLG not due any technical testing beforehand? This is really really embarrassing for a company the size of MLG to fuck up this bad. oh well at least Idra's jackass comment, and the interview with that crackhead who beat axslav was some what entertaining.
|
So we are again back at caster's stories, now because they spoiled results of replays they wanted to cast? I am having nightmare, this can't be real.
