Well done guys. Tears of happiness flow - Korea hasn't left the rest of the world in the dust already.

Looking forward to the individuals brackets!

Too early for that imo. Korea didn't start dominating until around 02-03. I wonder who will be the next Boxer in a few years to bring in the metagame revolution. Or will it be a foreigner this time.

Imagine if there had been actual world allstars instead of Huk and Moonglade. I think World could have definitely beaten Korea.

An "actual world allstars" lineup would most likely not have included all of Sen, TT1 and Dimaga even though those were the players that took out most of the Korean team. Huk and Moonglade are great players who unfortunately didn't win, anything more then that is just pure speculation.

Oddest thing is Artosis's choice to use Huk, Moonglade, and Jinro, the three with the most korean experience and knowledge, against July who is the most unorthodox Korean player / korean zerg in the scene. His playstyle negates their advantage of being used to the Korean styles since its not something anyone can really practice and prepare for. Other than that, it was a really good series by the world team. remained competitive with Korea and thats really promising.

The most significant message from this series is that the results in the TSL was not a fluke and cannot be blamed on latency alone. The skill gap between Korea and the rest of the world is very very small if existent at all.

You can't equivocate Bo3s to Bo1s. I'll make my determination based off the results of the real tournament which starts tomorrow. I don't deny that the foreigners looked very strong in the showmatch, though.

idd, i think its natural for people to look for excuses when nestea is losing to platinum macro terran.

Players by performance IMO:

1. WhiteRa - taking out MC and making it look easy
2. July - omnomnomming up half the worldteam
3. Dimaga - Stamina and combackness
4. Sen + TT1 - Giving world the early lead
6. NesTea - Staying calm and winning in the end
7. MVP - Playing solid but letting a discc and dimaga get to him
8. anyPro + Sanzenith - Hanging in there for the koreans
10. Morrow + moonglade - Playing risky and just comming up short
12. Huk + Jinro + Nada + MKP - The worst players , HuK and Nada playing too carefull , MKP en Jinro just playing silly in the matchups.

I approve this message WhiteRa game was amazing
Add me to the list of people agreeing with this. The WhiteRa game got me more edge-of-my-seat than any other game ever. 1 base warp prism with godly micro just making MC look hopeless.

God the idiots that are like "herp derp Korea won what useless", so what if they won? It was a friendly series, and god damn we might aswell have won this, with Dimaga, Sen and TT1 playing so fucking good and WhiteRa playing so well against MC aswell. Sadly Morrow, HuK and Jinro didn't show their A game but they were still really good games, I don't see why this matters to you guys.

Team Europe nearly won, great games overal!

Sen 2 wins - Tawain
TT1 2 wins - Canada
Dimaga 3 wins - Ukraine

Team Europe?

Ukraine is in Europe >.<

I know and its actually Dimaga 2 wins White-Ra 1 win

My point is its completely brainless to call it team Europe. Considering there was representation from all over the world and if you want to be a dick about it NA + SEA had 4 wins to europes 3 wins. I can't believe i'm even responding cause i could care less which region they are from. Just saying its a stupid comment to call it Team Europe.

LoL its like saying that EU+SEA got 5 wins and NA 2 lol

And team europe was answer to somone who called it team USA so its all jokes
