Mondragon played nice but dont fool yourself it was some kind of brilliant play. Zeerax could have like 15-20 stalkers more at the time for the roach hydra drop. That would have obliterated it. His macro was off and mondragon took advantage in a very well done way.

Wow. So cool play Mondragon, even though Zeerax looked kinda sloppy sometimes. But, yeah it is nice to see Zergs play differently and find ways how to beat Turtle-Deathball-Toss on Shakuras - idra might wanna take a look at this.
I did not expect this at all, but so far all german players have advanced - and I hope so will TLO!

Woah it's finally time for NaDa vs TLO fuck fuck fuck yeah!!!

Mondragon played well but we can't really see how good he is until he actually plays some better players.

I was a lot more impressed by IdrA (the second game) today than Mondragon.
Yes those games were entertaining, but Zeerax was far too bad to retain any lessons out of them.

Is TLO the only Liquid player left other than Tyler?

Zeerax qualified by beating other players with this style. The fact that he looked so bad in this series does not show that he is bad, but it shows how good Mondragon's response was, a type of play that other people could not figure out and lost because of it.

Grats Mondragon :DDDDD
We got 2 zerg in ro32 at least. Both are beast, FOR THE SWARM

I think nerves got to Zeerax. I really liked Mondragon's style though, would like to see it in a closer game.

Ouch for my bracket.
I figured "huh, I've never heard of Zeerax, but Mondragon isn't playing SC2 much as far as I know, and it's ZvP, so I'll vote Zeerax". After that series though, Zeerax making it through a TL Open looks like a total fluke.

Zeerax must of been nervous and his play lacked. And plus Mondragon just played so different and awesome. GG's
