idra dropping "we can see what a superior player he is!!!11" In game 3 he was making 7 drones -after- he saw that the push that was coming, that doesn't exactly shout "the superior player lost" to me. All you blinded idra fanboys are hilarious to read tho. | ||

Crucher played better in 2/3 of the games and Idra played better in 1/3 of the games. The fact that the one that played better 2/3 went through looks good for later rounds. | ||

1. All top players win tournaments here and there, and beat people that people think are among the best, and despite this, even when this "tier 1" player keeps getting beaten, people still rank that player among the best. 2. People don't account for rising players. Thorzain is an example of this.Thorzain demolished Adelscott in the qualifier, and had a great composition in mind to defeat Adelscott's play style, and he had great build orders to get to his composition. He played great and was a smart player in that series. In the Thorzain / Fruitdealer matchup, this was a case of factors 1 and 2. Thorzain is a smart player, with a solid play style. Fruitdealer won the first GSL, which was about 5 patches ago and 4 GSLs where he didn't get far at all. 3. All ins in starcraft 2, or semi-all ins are just incredibly effective. | ||
