whatever Idra may say, that was phenomenal play from Cruncher. The faking 4 gate, into expand, hallucinating pheonixes (after playing pheonixes in the last 2 games) > 6 gate. He got in Idra's head.

So impressed. Phenomenal

The reason cruncher's smiley face is retarded is because, in the opinion of some, he wins because of gimmicky plays or strong unit compositions while getting completely out macrod and outmicrod.
Idra BM's and engages in a straight up macro game to try to see who is better at the mechanics that are supposed to define starcraft.
There is a difference.

It's actually pretty difficult, because you need to spiral the roaches into the ball perfectly or they get pushed outside the center. give it a try with like 6 roaches on hold position on a custom map... trust me its not easy. However the way cruncher did it, makes me think it was a miss-click that ended up being epic. meh.

Not to whine about balance, more of feeling like it is a bug and should be fixed...
but when units are smashed together like that, they should still at least be able to attack if they are in range of opposing units.
I'm pretty sure blizzard didn't intend for forcefield to be able to bug out units like that so that they cant even attack

The personality. A workmanlike attitude. His BM wasn't really BM but just a flare of good personality. I like players that show they're fun to follow. Some players you love for their amazing play. Cruncher just played a good series and handled himself very well. Well mannered in his loss and a well mannered BM in the final game.

Did the GSL veterans just not prepare for the TSL or is there really this much parody in international Starcraft 2 gaming? I'll say a couple of upsets are good for a tournament, but at this rate all the big names will be out except by the next round. It's starting to get disappointing.
