People don'T get that, they just want to hate.

Go through ANY MVP game and find a reaper or marine getting probe surrounded.
That doesn't happen, ever. Those that say lag played no issue, to both or neither, is ridiculously uninformed.
Not to mention as a protoss player Terran obviously requires much more battle micro.
I loved Adelscott's play, but watching that game I would never, EVER take Adelscott's style into a lagless game- let alone against a better player.

Any zerg playing anytime soon?

why not using Justintv man, i like that stream, so much better resolution than UStream, and better quality. I watched grubby, HuK just like watching my 1920x1080 screen.

To those QQing about lag:
1) MvP's unit combination was just not sufficient. 2) for some of game 2 and almost all of game 1, Adelscott was at a MACRO advantage 3) just because Adelscott is used to the lag from EU-NA does not mean that it is unfair for MvP: Adel just took time to play on lag settings for practice, and if MvP did the same, he would be fine too. I can't make a statement about comparing lag from EU>NA and KR>NA, though, but guys:
If a foreigner loses, you attribute it to Korean skill If a foreigner wins, you attribute it to lag.
While this may or may not be the case, you are being a little bland in your judgment. So many other factors affect game strength, such as sleepiness, fatigue, focus, unit composition, etc. To give the foreigners no credit for a unique unit comp or thought process or to downplay the koreans for MAKING MISTAKES, as any human is prone to do, is simply unfair.

Mvp gotta have some mental issues judging from his performance lately. He played like a god until after his gsl victory then his performance has just been going downwards. And seeing him at gsl he looks like a junkie who hasnt got a fix for days or something, clearly he has some problems.

two days ago, I tried to play with my korean friend on the NA server for 2s. he was complainin alot about lag, he's forcefield went down like 1.5sec after he actually put it down
Also, in oGsMC's interview for TSL, he mentioned he went for colossi+void ray just to 1a, because he couldn't micro vs Ciara. Also, boxer and his gf mentioned about lag.
On March 26 2011 12:22 FXOpen wrote: Guys you are talking about delay in seconds.... Let me put it into perspective.
When I was in Korea, ping to NA was 310-410 ms.
Accordingly to someone close to me in korea, since the japan earthquake its now almost double that.
I dont know what the seconds delay or whatever would be... I guess it would depend. But i'd say it effects those micro based players.
With that said, every player knew what they were getting into.
What sucks is that it delegitimizes TSL3. However, I am looking forward to the finals since both finalists will be flown over to New York where latency is not an excuse.

I don't care how bad the lag is, you can't do a half assed response to a 15 nexus. You have to either expand immediately or go all in and crush it. You can't simply pressure a bit and take a late expand.
MVP also remained way too aggressive after regaining the lead in the second game, throwing away a ton of units all over the map (especially in AdelScott's main).

You get demoralised and say to yourself "whats the point when i got 2 sec delay". If they played this on lan, MVP would roflstomp him, i'd put heavy $ on that bet. You know that Adelscott is in EU and that they have a really similar lag, right? You can't blame that game on lag... Did you actually watch the games/listened to the casters? Lag from eu to us is way smaller...its something like 170 ping versus Mvp probably sitting at like 300. That + Terran requires way more micro that Toss so it was favored to Adel on that as well. This

It's so obvious that he had to fight against lag! oO How would MVP loose a Marine and even a Reaper in the early game to probes?!?!? Open your eyes people......

I dont think of it as an excuse, I just want to know how much of an impact it has. An even playing field is good for the game.

Stop whining about lag, none of you know for sure how bad the lag is affecting each player. Mvps micro may have been off but his decision making and over all strategy seemed off too: down in upgrades, no harass etc.. lag doesn't affect these things. So there was an upset... stop crying about lag and deal with it.
