The website is wrong. Impact being used as a verb is generally frowned upon and several leading authorities recommend against it. While it is true that the intention is clear and the English language is a dynamic and constantly evolving beast as far as standard English is concerned the word is bad English. This may of course change in the future, and as previously stated the intent is understood and that is really the important part, especially for a caster who has to think on their feet. | ||
