Jinro did not think that he could stay awake to play the NASL games or he would of participated. The Koreans are on a much harsher training regiment so they are willing to play GSL for like 6 hours, sleep for 4 hours, wake up, play NASL for 4 hours, sleep for like 4 hours, then train, and then play GSL. Jinro/ huk most likely thought they could not function on a messed up sleep shedule, while the koreans are fine with it. | ||

Do you get that there's MORE THAN 5 KOREANS who are better than the current Koreans invited. This means that no matter what, even if the last 5 invites are all Koreans, there will still be a higher level Korean left out, no matter what. Yes. I personally didn't need the best ten Koreans to be invited. Only ~10 good Koreans with an MVP or a Nestea thrown in there. That's an opinion, I'm not taking away from yours that it should be the best ten. I have to say though, Ryung and MMA are probably in that top ten but they couldn't have been in. | ||

However, by inviting these varying personalities, playstyles and nationalities very good players are going to be left out. That's just the way it works. There's no way they could invite the absolute best of the best because this would probably result in ~25 koreans ~10 NA's ~15 EU's. You might lose all the Russian, French, and South American players, which alienates those groups. If a single player such as MC, Boxer, or Morrow out of 50 not being invited makes this tournament unwatchable for you, that's the way it goes. You're in the vast minority of people and you're probably not a true SC2/E-sports fan. A true fan would watch it because you love the game, strategy, etc. not because you like a single player. To use the World Cup as an analogy: If you're from the UK, would you not watch the finals because its Spain vs. Germany? If you're a true soccer/football fan you'd watch the finals no matter who's in it. You'll do the same w/ this tournament (at least the 16 player bracket) if you're a true E-sports fan. | ||
