I don't mean to be a prick, these tournaments are great and I'm glad that VG is sponsoring them, but I wish you guys would consider changing the map pool - specifically, typhon peaks, delta quadrant, and slag pits - maps that a lot of players, probably including Hashe and people on Vile Gaming, do not consider to be very balanced currently.

MMM those are just there for the BO's. Usually no one complains except for the Zerg players and I have never taken them seriously. Map I also don't want all large maps because on average these tourneys take over 3.5 hours to run and if we added all large maps the tourney can easily go over 4.5 hours. Yeah it doesn't seem like a big deal to the players but when you are hosting the tournament doing nothing for almost 5 hours it gets boring.

Start now if you can find your opponent early, but we will not start replacing players until 6pm since that is the official start time.

We're currently working on a formal tournament (w/ checkins, etc.) system instead of the sloppy forum method. We hope to get this out to the players by next week's tourney, and hopefully increase the prize pool to $150 and the player limit to 256.
Please excuse the lack of organization for today's tournament. The original organizer had to leave at the last minute so I am trying to fill in his shoes, along with the help of NKaeris and NKexquisite.
And I also apologize for the lack of a live caster. Our main caster, Puremiss, got sick recently and can't cast for the 3-4 hour tournament. Though he's done an excellent job with the last 5-6 tournaments for us.

Sorry everybody about todays tournament. I had a virus on my computer and it would lock up on me every time =/. Luckily I finally just got it back up tonight while I had to sit through the system restore and all the updates. Now I just have to re-install everything I ever had on here =/
