I wonder why the map pool is different from the GSTL 2 map pool.. is it because this has more foreign players and since the maps new to GSTL 2 weren't uploaded til recently to foreign servers they want the map pool to be more fair?

The Korean team is so stacked I don't see them losing more than a couple matches, especially with homefield advantage and newness of most foreigners to the environment. They have like 4 top team aces.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just like, your opinion man

I think people are overplaying Artosis as coach too much. I think he'll only be on the bench talking to the team picking who goes next, telling them what went wrong, how to deal with a certain player, etc. All these things he can do in the intermission between games.

It just strikes me as odd, because I'd imagine if he was more of a full-time coach, he would've been with them at the foreigner house over the weekend, but it seems like he was in Taiwan instead.

I worry for his bladder though, having to do so much.

I still think we will see DOA and Tasteless. The world championship is divided in two parts, the 2 days team games and the 16 man tournament for the rest of the week. I think there's a miscommunication on GOM's website and Tastosis will only be for the 16 players tourney.

I may be wrong, but I wish it would be like that. I want to see Artosis on the bench, discussing with his team instead of going back and forth between the bench and the casting seat.

Too bad it's only first to 4, would have been awesome if you had to fully eliminate the other team.

Its a two day thing.

First to 8 wins, so technically a best of 15.

You will end up playing everyone, regardless.

Holy shit I just realised being in this tournament gets you a fat stack of cash. "Hey guys, wanna participate in a tournament? We'll give you $2.6k for showing up, and more if you win!" Awesome.

The Korean lineup is pretty stacked though, I guess this will be the true test of World vs. Korea (apart from the TSL/FXOpens), no lag issues! I'm pretty pumped, gogo WhiteRa!

I just suddenly realized the implications of this. Imagine if Day 1 was a 4-0 sweep for one team. And then the following day, somehow or rather the other team comes back to 7-3 it (overall 7-7 with one more match to play). It would mean we could be seeing up to 11 matches on Day 2.

Artosis better make sure he's got some change for the cab back in that case. Lol.

EDIT: Just realized it's not as long as I thought, definitely won't be long as some days in the Team Leagues, but definitely will be pretty long if it came to that.

With all the upsets that happened on TSL day 3 and maybe 4 (haven't watched it yet except i know the results of the first matchup thanks to a certain spaceman /shake fist), I think the Koreans are looking for revenge and the support of the Korean community for their players in this Korea vs World tourney will be overwhelming. Hopefully this ignities SC2 to new heights in Korea.

This will be a much better gage of Korean vs. Foreigner skill, very pumped, especially since I think the Korean's will take the foreigners more seriously due to TSL upsets.

Hey guys, on my way to go round up the World Team and escort them to the studio. They had a very nice Korean BBQ dinner yesterday and are in high spirits for the matches tonight. The unanimous vote is that the score will be 8-3 in favor of the World Team!

I was told that Nestea is very angry after the TSL lag issue. He'll be looking to exact his revenge tonight!

Watch tonight and support Japan by buying a ticket if you like (HQ is free even if you don't).
