Example: 10 players = $200
Venue gets $100
1st place = $60
2nd place = $30
3rd place = $10
Hope that makes sense. The tournament size has ranged from 60 to smaller numbers like 15. I'll argue with the timing of this one and the local ads that are going to be going around you can expect this one to be larger.

If there is a stream going on that day, we can just play the stream during the event, it's never been a issue before, unless people here want to go to dallas o.0

I know an American caster, but he'd have to cast over Skype. Here's his channel, if you wanted to check him out. I don't really know if doing it over Skype would really work for the Absolute Power tournaments, though.

I mapped it, the 1 goes within a couple blocks of it, its actually closer to capilano that clairview from a bussing perspective.

These two are currently our most popular maps.

The gsl maps are awesome though. I think most people will have played those a lot more and thus have more comfortability with them. The games on gsl maps don't have to be maccro slug fests, rushes/cheeses can work brilliantly because of how maccro focus people get; people love to cut corners on maccro maps.

If you folks need a co-caster or a relief caster, I would love to give it a shot.
I don't have any casting qualifications or references to speak of, but I've got stage experience and used to do quite a bit of improv theater. I also watch a ton of Starcraft.

I can't bring my big rig (various reasons) but I can bring my laptop which is good enough to HD stream on medium-low (looks just like medium). Although I'd prefer if I could just get a machine there with Xsplit on it, I'll bring my laptop anyway though just in case.

Really good tourny guys, shiro and gofarman you guys did a great job making everything nice and smooth. And big props to the casters red_hq who was casting his heart out for hours in the early stages and prodiG and his co caster for giving us the exposure and great casts. (i actually learned a lot watching the VODs you guys casted of me)
All in all it was great fun, and i will definitly practice more to represent EdmontonGamers.com xD.
