I can make marauders/ghosts/vikings, but I'm obviously much inferior to MKP. I'm not saying MKP is the best at TvP, but he's obviously not the worst. I said he's one of the worst TvP I've seen from top GSL players, not that he is the worst TvP in Korea. That I'm willing to consider him a top GSL player at all is a nod to his results. The problem with his style is that he relies on predictable timing pushes. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, but as more and more Protoss players recognize the timings the less likely it is that they'll work. And if they don't work, MKP can't/doesn't transition, because marine tank is a very fragile composition. You can't really run away with tanks if you lose the fight, so it's almost like a soft all-in. Once you lose the bulk of your tanks marines can't hold any kind of colossi and/or HT army so he just flat out loses. This appears to me a lot weaker than even Qxc's mass ghost marauder style which can at least run away. | ||
