Lol guys, BW B teamers are literally the most skilled players with the most potential to switch over from another RTS to SC2, because the A teamers are still playing BW. MKP, MC, MMA, Bomber . . ALL B teamers. MVP was a lower tier A teamer and look how hard and how long he raped everyone.

The older BW players and legends weren't really that good at BW by 2009-2010.

this game is volatile as it is, any sort of lag can be a huge factor imo. I think cross server games are a bit unfair, especially to koreans who are getting the short end of the stick here. Not a lag rant, CrunCher played well but still kind of unnerving to see people like MKP lose so easily.

And why is that? he was a B-teamer before, not a jeadong or flash .. other players are improving and Cruncher seems to be one of those, seriously, MKP might have reached his ceiling for all we know.

And Cruncher was a mediocre WC3 player, which puts him far below BW B teamers in RTS terms.

MarineKing is legitimately one of the very best players in the world, results prove this.

MKP has one of the worst TvPs out of the Terran GSL finalists, while Cruncher has one of the best PvTs in the foreigner's scene (apparently - because he appears to be rolling Strelok as well). The skill gap in SC 2 isn't so big that MKP should auto-win.

MVP rolled for one GSL season. Now look at where he is.

Cruncher just started to get good before sc2 came out. He won a Zotac cup by beating FoCuS.

Is that why he all-killed the top 5 protoss (except MC) in TPZ?
Explain to me who has better TvP than MKP.. MVP is having hard times vs P as well.
All terrans are having trouble vs P in general, it's not just MKP...

Strelok was so afraid of the possibility of CrunCher cheese he let him expand and get a huge lead for free!

Strelok is in EU. Barely any lag. And I'm not just talking about this tournament. He's just destroying everyone. He's going to 2-0 IdrA tomorrow.

I haven't actually seen Cruncher play, but based on the people I see he is beating, I think Idra should see him as a threat

how could he do that? he couldn't even hold off the pressure the moment cruncher dropped the nexus.
and to add to that cruncher was teching at the same time.

I was referring to the Koreans he beat.

And okay, I'll revisit this thread tomorrow

This isn't SC1 nor WC3 and results obtained before hardly guarantee any future result .. more so in SC2. Look how most top S-code players from last season are faring nowadays.

Wow, I hate all these people saying that Cruncher only cheeses and that he's a bad player. He's beaten CheckPrime, MarineKing, oGsInca, FXOMoonan and was one game away from beating Select. Obviously cruncher is a beast, he's been taking out many many good players, yet people keep ragging on him. Pathetic.
