Any other opinions on this?
Good players get rolled many a time ... most of them 3 times our of ten or more... and in most cases it's not due to lag. SC2 is a young game, none has figured out the metagame yet. Upsets will happen in korean vs korean or korean vs foreigner... and who is to say the good players that get rolled aren't going downhill?.. look at MvP or Boxer f.e.

this game is volatile as it is, any sort of lag can be a huge factor imo. I think cross server games are a bit unfair, especially to koreans who are getting the short end of the stick here. Not a lag rant, CrunCher played well but still kind of unnerving to see people like MKP lose so easily.

I like how people are throwing around numbers such as 1.5 or even 3second delays Jinro, who has played on the NA server quite a lot from korea, made a post about lag in the TSL3 subforum, you should check it out. In essence, the koreans that are interested in playing in foreign events should play some games with the delay to get used to it, as it will throw you off your game if it is entirely new to you.

If they couldn't win they wouldn't compete. As much as we rag on lag, the WB still looks like this:
Zenio (Korean) vs. SeleCT (Korean American)/Supernova (Korean)
Also, MKP is just really bad at TvP for some reason.

He was an A- player named Gositerran in BW. So far he has had the names "Kitty" and "Princess"; he has only played SC2 for one month.

And why is that? he was a B-teamer before, not a jeadong or flash .. other players are improving and Cruncher seems to be one of those, seriously, MKP might have reached his ceiling for all we know.

GosITerran apparently, his mechanics are insane but that should be expected from an A- player

Not really talking about only MKP here, seems like a trend with koreans in general but I don't think we can say MKP reached his skill ceiling just yet, he's still a young kid and being a B-teamer in bw before is an extraordinary feat at his age.

And Cruncher was a mediocre WC3 player, which puts him far below BW B teamers in RTS terms.
MarineKing is legitimately one of the very best players in the world, results prove this.

How is CrunCher just crushing everyone with ease???
