Background
With this tournament, Frag for Cancer is aiming to raise money and awareness for the Canadian Cancer Society’s Camp Goodtime Program. Frag For Cancer is a gaming initiative that runs events to raise funds and awareness to fight cancer. We are all passionate volunteers who enjoy gaming with a goal of directing 100% of the money raised to cancer charities. The only way an event like this can come together is through the collective effort of enthusiastic volunteers, generous sponsors and wonderful participants. It all started with a gamer who lost his father to cancer and vowed to raise awareness and funds while encouraging philanthropy. In 5 years, we’ve held multiple gaming LANs and tournaments raising over $22,000 for various cancer charities.
Sponsorship and Prizes
The event will be presented by Gunnar Optiks and NCIX. Our hosting and tournament organization will be managed by z33k and media sponsorship will be covered by the Collegiate Starleague.

Donation Raffle - Anyone who donates $10 or more will be automatically entered in a random draw to win Gunnar Optiks Gaming Eyewear
Details
Mode of Play: 1v1 StarCraft 2, Single Elimination Tournament
Start Date: Sat Mar 5, 12pm PT / 3pm ET
End Date: Sun Mar 6, 11pm PT/ 2am ET
Registration Deadline: The start of the tournament.
Bracket: 128
Status: Sign-up
Eligible Regions: North America
Eligible Leagues: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master
Casters: TotalBiscuit, Diggity, Rakura, Adebisi, CatsPajamas, Dalhousie CSL Team
The event is single elimination with a 128 person bracket. Quarter finals through semi finals will be changed to a Bo3. The final match will be Bo5. Live casting of the matches will not begin until the second day of the tournament from the Ro16 and onwards.
