imo I wouldn't expect Mouz to send MorroW. His ZvZ is terrible, and IdrA's is great. MaNa would be a more likely ace, I think, or Naama--someone without a huge matchup weakness. And that would make the last game a lot less predictable. This thing looks really close. Morrow's ZvZ is definitely not terrible, just because he played poorly in one series, he has a decent ZvZ record with plenty of wins, but I do agree that Mana is much more likely to be the Ace, especially considering a strong Protoss is Idra's admitted weakness.

I'm actually expecting this match to be really close. Hopefully EG will take this.

I dunno if Axslav is gonna win but he looked godly on Incontrol's stream last night plus the guy seems to be really good at theorycrafting, so I think EG is gonna have a star on their hands.

Lol did you even read his post, is DeMuslim gonna call Incontrol one of the best ZvZers in europe...
Also even if he was bigging up one of his team-mates, he wouldn't just sprout bullshit

EG have the only pretty certain win with Idra (no disrespect to Strelok), the rest being mirror matches makes them all really hard to call (though MorroW really should beat StrifeCo).
I'd definitely give the edge to EG though due to the Idrafactor, for Mouz to stand a chance at winning they can't afford to even let it get to an ace match.

I'm just referring to Incontrol's statement in the SOTG podcast after Assembly, that Morrow is horrible in ZvZ.

It's hard to predict a volatile match up, and I wouldn't be surprised if I was completely wrong here, but:
(P)MouzMaNa <Lost Temple> (P)EGAxslav
Mana seems more experienced in PvP and has defeated Axslav in the past. His PvP record is really quite stellar. Axslav will hopefully bring in a new strategy tailored to counter Mana, but short of that Mana's experience will likely pull through.
(Z)MouzMorroW <Blistering Sands> (Z)EGStrifeCro
A lot of ZvZ comes down to experience and micro, and Morrow has these over StrifeCro. This is not to say StrifeCro cannot upset, but Morrow has to be favored here.
(T)MouzStrelok <Scrap Station> (Z)EGIdrA
IdrA said in some recent tournament that he'd much rather face Terran than Protoss, and that his ZvT is quite solid. Given that Strelok likes to play predictable macro games, IdrA will likely have the edge over him.
(P)MouzHasuObs <Metalopolis> (P)EGiNcontroL
I don't know enough about HasuObs's PvP to call this, so I'll just go with the player I want to win.
Ace match: I think Mouz will send Mana, especially if he wins against Axslav. But you never know with these things, since Mana might not be online or available. If they send Mana, however, it'll be quite hard for EG to respond. None of their Zerg players want to face Protoss, if IdrA's opinions are anything to judge by, and if Axslav has already lost to Mana then it'll be hard for him to triumph.
I see Mana taking this ace match for Mouz, 2-1, against either Axslav, IdrA, or InControl.
If Mana is for some reason not available, however, the match up becomes more in EG's favor. IdrA's ZvZ is probably equal to if not better than Morrow's, and the same is true if they send Strelok. HasuObs is another alternative but Mouz doesn't seem to like using him for ace.

I've been missing these a lot, so I'm glad I'm finally home on a Sunday where I can watch one.

Good point but I think MaNa's weakest matchup is PvZ as well, so I'd say it may be more likely to see Naama or Strelok as the ace.

I predict axslav and strifecro to win for eg, and strelok and hasu to win for mouz.

Kind of sucks that the Ace match is played on Jungle.

MorroW vs IdrA in the ace match would be terriffic. We'll see just how "bad" MorroW's ZvZ is. IdrA might be surprised.

Shame about all the mirrors, but should be a good watch, anyway.

Four matches of a top player + he justification for having bad ZvZ = g.g.
