they're not, it's up to the players if they want to use them they're as strong as ever.

I'm watching the german stream as well, and I was under the assumption that any non-german could easily understand Khaldor. "Und jetzt ist der protoss player mit seiner army in der base des terran, und zerlegt mit seinen Storms die bio army ... der missile turret schiesst auf die colossi und sie gehen down!" Even if you don't understand german, you should be able to follow him considering the enormous amount of english in his casting . Hehe, german is indeed not hard to listen too, but casting is for me more then just telling what happens on the screen. I cant pick up what he says when he says funny things for example. I dont understand it good enough to listens to all the funny remarks they make. They are funny as hell right? I bet you are laughing your ass off listening to them. Not really. Khaldor is a renowned caster in the german scene, he's able to create atmosphere and direct attention, and he's quick at spotting things that should be mentioned. He was famous in War3 for his style of "waterfall casting", were he managed to commentate almost everything that happened on-screen at the same time. He's not joking around that much, though, aside from a rare quip here or there. He's more of a commentator in the true sense of the word than an entertainer/commentator combination as we're used from e.g. Tasteosis. I can't understand a drop of what he's saying, but compared to most others German casters (which I find irritating - no offense!), I can really feel the pace of the game in his voice, and he's generally quite pleasant to listen to ^^ He's really a good commentator. I've never listened him before today, and my German isn't that great, so I only understand about 75% of what he's saying, but he's got a good voice, good excitement, and really seems to know what he's doing. Better than most of the English commentators I've heard, I'm really impressed!

But isnt there a reason players choose to cheese less? But I definitely think players are getting better, how can you say theyre not?

They are casting ro16, but personally I'm a bit puzzled as to why they are doing live casting. Thought it was supposed to be done via replays. Just hope it doesn't cause any problems.

Not sure how the bracket works, but a Whitera TLO final would be epic.

Not like there is detective work or confirmations needed, considering it's stated in the official bracket that it's him..
