Yeah, I want to know, too. Did you ask the other team if you could play? And if they said, no, what were the teams? It's pretty petty of the teams to deny a player to play.

It's not petty, its the rules, everybody plays by the same rules mmmkay?

Plus, you play to win the game, it would be a pretty dumb strat to let idra play if u didn't have to.

just interjecting before you all hate on kyhol and ONE. im not sure if the manager of ONE has disallowed it, and if he does he is within his rights. idra been on EG's roster for some months, if they had submitted him to SGL from the start, wouldn't have this problem now =/

well, i guess the rule is in place to prevent ringers. you'd be good mannered to allow idra since obviously idra is not just a ringer, but rules are rules and tbh you should take as much advantage out of them as possible.

then of course, there's the fact that idra is way better than all of you. if you value your success over your pride, barring him is that much more of a good idea

Also, the rule states that the other opposing team can allow a player who's wait-listed to play. ONE is being petty by denying Idra, even though EG has asked ONE's permission.

Heres my 2 cents as the leader of ONE. EG could have allowed IdrA to be on their roster several months ago, but they didn't. Just like they don't have DemusliM on their SGL roster at the moment now either, and they didnt elect to use DemusliM when we played them in SCL earlier this week. I have a ton of respect for EG, and have known some of their players for some time. But with the disrespect IdrA has shown my team in the last few days and the comments he has made, I have no reason to do him any favors. If both teams make it to the play offs in SGL we will be happy to play against him there when he is an eligible player on their roster.

ONE has declined EG's request to use IdrA

I did get a quote from the ONE manager

"No. No, you fucking kidding me? We don't want to face your best lineup. We want to do whatever we can to face the lineup we have the best chance of beating. Regardless... if we can use the rules to win we will. We are actually working on a disconnection scenario where we can ex out another EG player. letting idra play will only be beneficial to the whole encounter :
not only will it add more viewers to the stream but it will also give team One a chance to play and maybe win against Idra...
That is why they should let him play.
