QXC>Ret. Ret is amazing, but his biggest weakness is overdroning. QXC is the kind of Terran who makes me HATE Terran's, constantly dropping, poking and prodding. While Ret my have the mechanical advantage, stylistically the edge goes to QXC. I feel like the map will help with the too. XC's wide open Nat will lead to lots of early game options for QXC. Jinro>Slush. Lets face it, Jinro is good. Really good. He's taken out a lot of incredibly good zergs, can macro on level with zergs, or can go for early wins. His bag of tricks just gives him an edge here, made worse by it being on JB. TLO=>Drewbie. This one is really random due to TLO and the map. If its Zerg+Close Pos I feel drewbie has a good chance, but in other situations it will go to TLO. Overall though, I'm giving a slight edge to TLO because he is so unique. There's a lot to be said about playing in an atypical yet strong way. It puts the game in TLO's control, its a situation he has practiced and his opponent probably hasn't. Kiwi>Haypro. Haypro is good, no doubt, but I'm giving Kiwi the edge for the same reason I gave TLO an edge. Kiwi has a way of pulling stuff out of his hat to beat strong opponents, this is even stronger in a BO1 situation. He's also the kind of player who can take a typically Zerg favored map and use it to his advantage. Furthermore, Kiwi is no slouch mechanically. His macro is better than a lot of people's and he has terrifyingly good micro. I expect a really good (or at least, fun) match from these two. For the ace, I want me some Tyler. | ||
