They add a whole new level of excitement and fun that can't be emulated by the main tournament. yeah there's something different about team games, just seems like there is greater effort behind winning when it's just not one player fighting for himself/herself but for an entire team. To those saying that they fight for their team even in regular GSL, yes of course they do in a way but still not quite the same thing. | ||

The only other Blizz map that compares is Zel Naga Caverns, which I think is the best map they've got. Cross positions on Metal and LT aren't this good because everything's funneled into a big somewhat open area in the middle which I think is boring for games, the terrain on Shakuras just suits long multi-front battles so well because of all of the different attack paths and destructible doors (this is how destructible rocks should be placed, not sitting in the thirds and in backdoors to mains). It's really such a fun map. | ||
