Question about the Nada vs Genius game. Nada never scouted but he knew exactly where Genius was? Did he scan and I missed it?

Or on the contrary, perhaps he knows MC will go 2-0 with MKP/jinro 2-0 so they (the ogs guys) can choose their opponents. Idra played well that game, but I mean, you can't say nada tried to win.
Still, I think idra deserve to be finaly in ro8, glad for him. He did pretty much throw the game. Nada said in his interview that he was trying to hide his build orders and instead opted to go use some build that he knew wasn't very good anymore. If he wanted to bust out his build now instead he would have won but would be at a disadvantage going into the round of 8. Actually, I believe Nada said it was one of the builds he was trying to hide but decided to try it but since it's kinda old it did not work as intended. Not sure though, would have to watch it again. ^this is what I believe NaDa said too.
There is also no way that MC will throw any matches (if he'd even enter that notion he wouldn't have completely 4-0'd Jinro), so it would more than likely be a NaDa v MC rematch.

Idra killllllled it. Also, neither Tasteless or Artosis seemed to know why Clide wanted to play Idra so bad. I have a theory. In a video interview Artosis did with Idra before this GSL, Artosis was asking for Idra's opinions on people in code S. Idra said something about Clide being terrible. Perhaps Clide saw this/ someone told him about it?

Hopefully the casting archon will stop talking about Cliiiiiiiiiiiiiiide so much and with such high regard.
Unless it's been a joke this whole time in which case they may continue.

Hellion, Maurder, cannoned up nat, Thor drop into a thor all in. Sick, sick, sick. Cherry on top was Idra gging back to Nada (of course) and cracking a smile at the end. This is the farthest Idra has gotten into the GSL and now it looks like he can make it to the semis.
Noticed that Idras gg too, pretty good timing with it . While playing perfect games, beat your opponents with great style, won against your bw guru and gg him back, advanced to the next round from the first place... SKY IS THE LIMIT must say.

Yeah it kind of irritates me, sure they can joke about it but it gets annoying when Tasteless says: "Clide the best player in the world, no doubt about that" Its just like........ wut

The sarcasm is pretty annoying and insulting to the player, no doubt a great player but far from best in the world.

Nada didn't throw away the game, but its definitely a strategy that was reserved for Open GSL Season 3 (that never got to be used). He used to have this love for Thors (like in Open Season 2), but always fails with it.

watching Clide vs Idra and I'm guessing that Clide's BO and unit composition was meant to try to get Idra to make Roaches and slow down Spire tech in response to Clide making a whole lot of Hellions, but Idra just stayed with speedlings and teched up to spire for mutalisks.
wonder how Idra would deal with an earlier blue flame hellion attack. he had Spine Crawlers up but that was just to protect his nat. I don't think Idra ever got an overlord scout into Clide's base to scout.

Im a big fan of tastosis, but call a spade a spade, they fuck up A LOT. Espeically tasteless, he screws up at least once during the intro followed by a few screw ups in the actual game. How many times has artosis said "its okay tasteless, we forgive you"?

Nada didnt throw the match, he just hiding his BO for a meaningless match just like Rainbow did vs Genius
all round of 8 match will be hard match anyway, so no point of being top or 2nd seed
also the format is abit weird,on most group --> elimination format, they would cross the bracket so that 2 people from the same group will only meet at the final if they keep winning, but now there's a chance of rematch on the group of 8 instead (MC vs Nada, Idra vs Jinro)

Huge props to Idra I didnt see him making it out of this group.

You guys serious? the Clide joke is hillarious, today was a great day for the foreign scene, stop being so picky and negative!
Can't wait for more grack puns and awesome Idra rape
On a side note i'd have to agree I don't think NaDa would've played the way he did had it been super important that he win, still he didn't throw the game and tried to win with a risky strat (very un-NaDa like).

I gave Idra a lot of stick for his failures in Korea, but I am glad to admit that he proved me wrong. He man-handled both Clide and Genius, which made me quite happy, considering how one of them (Genius) was so provocative in a recent game, and the other was planning to "laugh at Idra's face". Two EPIC fails.

Holy cow, Clide vs Idra. That muta control. THAT MUTA CONTROL. Insane. Simply insane. Not even a billion turrets with a range upgrade can hold that.
idra is seriously insane.
