Over the last few months he has: Placed 2nd in GSL 2 (only lost to the winner, NesTea) 2nd at G-STAR (only lost to the winner, Kyrix) Top 8 in GSL 3 (only lost to the winner, MC) 3rd in Gainward (only lost to the winner, mvp) Then there are things like the Gisado show matches where he was destroying Protoss, or the Zotac team league where he's been destroying everyone. Based on results he has to be considered one of the top 5 players in the world right now (probably 4th imo, behind MC, mvp and NesTea).

Foxer is like 999 times better than clide. Same as Rainbow.

MK is definitely top 3 terran with MVP and nada and maybe rainbow. MC is #1 protoss by a long shot with possibly only tester/huk being somewhat rivals Nestea has yet to lose this season again. Idra, frtuidealer, and zenio being the only ones close after that. Predictions for tonight. MC 3-0 MarineKing 2-1 rainbow 0-2 jinro 0-2

I think some people are still hung up on his mass marines style even though he has clearly evolved as a player. He still might not be great at long macro games, but his openings are very good and his micro is superb and no longer exclusively uses marines.

Looking at the current brackets, I just realized my dream finals - however unlikely, is Tester vs Idra. How epic would it be for those two to play for the championship in this grand tournament? For (kinda) old times sake!

Come on he's easily as good as Rainbow and MK. All he needs to worry about is the early aggression, in the late game he will chinroll through tvt.
