Did he stop participating, or is he just not on a team for it? (like the TSL vs oGs basically?)

No, Im not the best terran player in the world, but its just so annoying that posts seem to be either "wow hes amazing" or "wow hes terrible", why is there no middle ground? Well, for some of us amazing means you're a favorite. You have a lot of personality in your play and are always fun to watch, even on off nights. Keep up the good work Jinro! I'm looking forward to seeing you do well in the GSL. Plus, you actually talk to us D- level noobies, and we appreciate it.

For every one hater there are hundreds of us standing behind you.. We just expect the best all the time as with any other professional.. So you didn't play your best against Losira and some keyboard warrior decided to throw some hate.. Brush it off mate; you are perceived as a professional so you will have to take the good with the bad.. At the end of the day we will always be Jinro hwaiting!!!

No, Im not the best terran player in the world, but its just so annoying that posts seem to be either "wow hes amazing" or "wow hes terrible", why is there no middle ground? I am the middle ground :D Maybe its like that because your friends (e.g. the guys who chill in "the state of the game" like day9, artosis, idra and others) told everyone that you are the very best terran in the world. I think there are many many people around that believe every word these guys say. Even if its just support for a friend. You are the best non Korean Terran and you are easy one of the top 25 players of the world. But if everyone expects that you are the best Terran in the world its too much and either they are disappointed or they believe blindly in you. If you read this, who do you think is the best Terran player in the world? :D

You have to realize that 90% of the people here have a very limited knowledge of the game. Basically if they see someone dominate because of a build order win they think he's the best player in the world. If they see someone lose 15 Nex vs Roach Rush he's the worst player in the world. Most can't see the logic behind builds, timings or unit compositions for that matter. They see one person having a bigger army crushing the other, so obviously he's better. Because Tester didn't make it into 2 GSL's some people have decided he's now an awful Protoss. And when they see him kicking ass again, they'll be like "I always knew he could do it". There's a reason most people are reliant on commentators like Tastosis and Day9. Unfortunately if they spice thing up by saying you are possibly the best Terran in the world, lots of people can't see through that. It's the price of fame, you win MLG Dallas and get top 4 GSL so now people are going to have large expectations. It's something new you have to deal with, just don't drink too much soju.

He cheesed inca, top 'threw away' the kulas game vs him and itr played absolute crap vs him. He got lucky with his opponents and somehow managed to get through. He very certainly was beatable (as the TOP series showed)

MVP would be a good candidate if he wasnt so shaky TvP. On December 31 2010 18:41 Saechiis wrote: People like to see things in black and white since grey is boring. I guess you are right, Im just easily tilted right now because Ive been sick for so long (Im finally feeling a tiny bit better today, hope it lasts) and it makes it hard to practice.
